Hammer works as an assistant professor at Carnegie Mellon University, jointly appointed between the HCI Institute and the Entertainment Technology Center. She teaches courses related to Game Design and Learning Media. She studies how games can change the way people think, feel, and behave.
InterDigital develops fundamental wireless technologies that are at the core of mobile devices, networks, and services worldwide. InterDigital invites market participants in the wireless eco-system to collaborate on integrating its advanced enabling technologies into products and services for field testing and commercial deployment.

Advisors

Carl is currently Distinguished Professor of Practice at Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center, and is the Director of the Silicon Valley satellite campus. He mentors and advises students working on their Masters in Entertainment Technology degrees and teaches a course on entrepreneurship.
Game Designer & Writer originally trained in theater, I worked on Broadway for years before switching to game design. I have over twenty shipped titles in almost every major genre, and consult in the areas of game design, storytelling, curriculum design, game production and photography.
