iButton Implementation


The A System is made up of four principle parts.
  • The Awesome Server is the backbone of the system. It houses the MySQL database with user's information as well as the Apache Web Server which makes possible the
  • Awesome Web Client (www.projectawesome.com) which allow guests to access their information and settings as well as view other useful information about other ETCers.
  • The Awesome Reader Terminals provide access points for guests to use their iButtons to hear music and see their images.










The above layouts will be available for guests of the A System and will be seen when you ding your iButton. The layouts allow for the following items to be configured:


We feel this is a good start for the system and have other ideas such as Competitive Slot Machines, uPals, Weather, and Random Puzzles that we could be added if Version 2.0 of this project ever gets made.


uBucks

ETCers can earn uBucks for using the iButton system and for performing tasks that will benefit the ETC. uBucks are used to power up iButtons in special ways.
