Week 13: Soft Opening & Polish

We have a successful soft opening. Unfortunately, under NDA, we are not allowed to share the completed experience with you yet.

The plan for this week is to work on polishing according to the feedback from faculty and clients.

To Polish

  • [Add] Add the smoke or dust effect when the treasures falling
  • [Add] Add some filter for the smoking or fogging or shiny effect
  • [Modify] Make the gems and coins look unbreakable with consistent textures
  • [Modify] Update the Genie’s Enterance animation
  • [Modify] Update Genie’s skin tone for Genie entrance and Genie Graffiti to make consistency
  • [Modify] Make the Cleveland showing on the other side of Genie.
  • [Add] Might use the 2D sprite to block the audience view for Genie Entrance
  • [Modify] Make the knife animation higher and longer
  • [Add] Provide Fog machine spec to New York Team
  • [Modify] Pen animation should be longer and more precisely
  • [Modify] Make table and food bigger 50% at least
  • [Add] Make the food on the table with more animations or popping
  • [Remove] Cut off any vertical UI and keep horizontal only.
  • [Modify] Change showing order for Aladdin interface (Left, Center, Right) or (Center, Left, Right)
  • [Modify] Make the two columns look cartoony(flat) feeling to meet the cohesion of art style.
  • [Modify] Reduce the number of LED light balls from 25 to 10
  • [Modify] Send the light ball flying to the genie heart
  • [Modify] All the AR effects are showing again for the first time of Genie singing “Never have a friend” at the ending.
  • [Modify] Relocate the column A&B to Genie sides at the end
