Overview
The concept of Wizards&Lizards is the production of two small real-time motion capture games that employ virtual reality to immerse the guest in magical world. The style is a hybrid of medieval and fantasy lore. The back-story is that two rival clans of magic users: humans (Reapers) and lizards (Hssklk), are at battle over the enchanted mountain Akronchrusos (known to Hssklk as Stone Mother), where the lizards make their home and the battle takes place. Possible expansions to the setting include a network of caves, a magic carpet hangar, and the interior of the tower fortress. The theme is rivalry, unexpected adventure and coming-of-age, amidst arcane power. Each game playing session is expected to take from five to ten minutes.

Demographic
Our demographic is male and female video game enthusiasts who have a familiarity with the fantasy genre and are aged eighteen to thirty.

Gameplay
The game will consist of the player flying a magic carpet around a craggy mountain tower in attempts to collect orbs, thus defeating the tower lord (lizard shaman). After collecting a particular sequence of orbs, the player must fly to the lizard's tower and release the orbs in a drop-zone above the platform while dodging attacks from the lizard shaman.

Key Features
* basic magic carpet navigation, easy and fun

* in-game sound effects
* in-game soundtrack
* scoring system
* enemy AI
* HUD messages and event triggers

Challenge
For simplicity's sake, only one environment will be created (with potential features to add zones such as the tunnels). Since we hope for a high throughput for the game, one attempt at the game will be allowed in which difficulty will scale as the game progresses, but each session need not take longer than 5-10 minutes. As the player successfully collects the materia orbs (powerup point items), the enemy will respond more quickly and with greater accuracy.
