After our prototyping stage, our clients came up with a pool of 6 ideas based on all our prototypes and findings. They looked at the ones they felt had the most mass appeal and were novel and interesting to experience in VR. They consulted with us on our opinion those ideas, and then finalized 3 ideas to move forward with for developing into 3 complete experiences. We spent about 4 weeks in this stage, making the core mechanics for each of them.
Nearing the end of our development stage, our clients looked at the 3 experiences we had developed so far, and picked the two they felt had the most potential and would be showcased at Viacom Headquarters. We then started refining those two for the next 2 weeks.
