Statement
of Purpose:
The Earth Theater Project aims to produce innovative new content
for panoramic and dome-style theaters and to explore engaging
modes of audience interactivity. It is an ongoing collaboration
between the Entertainment
Technology Center (ETC) and the Earth
Theater at the Carnegie
Museum of Natural History,
Facility:
The Earth Theater is a partial-dome planetarium style theater
located at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh,

Project
Outcome:
The project yielded some very interesting insights into audience
responses to a collective interactive experience, and the
ETC's Panoramic Real-time Interaction System is now able to
be driven through the Spice Multimedia Control System. See
the Results page for more information.
